Cakes, Cupcakes & Cookies... OH MY! was started in February of 2010 when I decided to make a fondant Mickey Mouse cake for my son's 3rd birthday. Everyone thought I was crazy and certainly didn't expect the outcome to be as wonderful as it was. I thoroughly enjoyed making and decorating the cake and couldn't wait for my next opportunity, which was just around the corner for my step-son's 10th birthday. Again, family and friends were delighted with what I created. I began to look for opportunities to "wow" and "amaze" them... holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, just because... you name it! It was in April that I had the opportunity to put my skills to the test when I made a birthday cake for a dear friend. It was this cake, which is one of my favorites to date, that started a windfall of requests from people wanting me to make them cakes, cupcakes & even cookies too!
My biggest motivation is consistently trying to outdo myself and the cakes I've made. I make it a point to continuously learn new techniques and processes, which makes it exciting to take on any challenge I'm presented with. Every cake, cupcake and cookie is individually designed for you, matching your personality and the theme of the occasion you are celebrating.
I've always been artistic and creative and have finally found something that I truly love to do, and that is reflected in everything I make. My creations are all individually baked to order and come to you fresh... not frozen! I've got several flavors for you to choose from and am always experimenting with new ones to add. I specialize in creating unique and elegant fondant cakes, as well as, custom & coordinating cupcakes and cookies. I don't make grocery store cakes, my cakes are all custom made for my clients and the occasion they are celebrating.
